Your Responsibilities

Perform day to day accounting functions including preparing journal entries, maintaining continuity schedules, and accounting for corporate activities
Track grant revenue and related expenses for external reporting and IAS 20 compliance
Perform period-end procedures to meet target reporting dates
Complete complex reconciliations
Assist with year-end financial statement audit
Prepare expense reports and process accounts payable
Assist with analysis of key financial accounts
Assist with development and testing of internal controls
Assist with design and documentation of business processes and accounting policies
Assist with accounting research
Prepare various ad hoc reports and support key accounting projects
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with all levels and departments within the company to ensure a seamless and accurate flow of information

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of full cycle accounting
Demonstrated project management experience
Computer savvy self starter with an ability to learn new tools quickly
Advanced Excel Skills – Comfortable in functions required to create and work with pivot tables, look up and match functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience using macros for repetitive tasks, Power BI, and/or Power Query
